Friends of a missing woman fear ‘something has happened to her’ as police continue their search for the 33-year-old.
Sarah Everard was last seen walking between Clapham Junction and Brixton in London at 9pm on Wednesday, according to reports.
No-one has heard from her since she had a 15-minute call with her partner which ended at around 9.30pm.
The marketing manager’s loved ones have now spoken out, insisting their friend did not disappear deliberately.
Her university friend Rose Woollard told MailOnline: “When my mum passed away she rang me every day.
“She’s really caring, thoughtful and never has a bad word to say about anyone ever.
“It couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. This has never happened before.
“I spoke to her earlier that day, she was fine. We talked about how boring our days have been. I think she was dealing with lockdown like we all are.”
The teacher said she knew her friend had not ‘taken herself off anywhere’.
Instead she told Mail Online ‘something has happened to her on her ride home’, adding that she just hoped ‘it is not a stranger’.
Her phone signal was traced close to Clarence Avenue in Clapham, it is reported.
Police were notified she was missing on Thursday after her friends could not reach her.
She was last seen wearing a green waterproof jacket, navy blue trousers with a white diamond pattern, white trainers and green in-ear headphones.
She is 5ft 4in with blonde hair and a slim build.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “We are increasingly concerned for the missing Sarah Everard, 33, from Brixton. She was last seen on March 3 in the area of Clapham Common.
“She was wearing the green jacket and black and white trousers as on the photo.”
